I thought it was time I updated my "business-y" profile picture on LinkedIn- plus just to have a business-head shot. The one above, taken in June of 2006, is what I was using.

So, I pulled a picture off the wall, carried an aim-able incandescent floor lamp down from my bedroom, strategically opened some window shades, put on a nice blouse and a jacket, and a little makeup, attached the point and shoot to the mini tripod and got to work...
The window shades took some work to get the light just right.

The winning attempt. So I uploaded it. Then took a look. Dang if it isn't just a teeny tiny thumbnail. ;-)
Oh well, at least my teeny tiny thumbnail looks a bit more professional.
